Nick Daccus

Daccus Architects & Construction Managers Ltd was set up in 2008. Nick qualified as a Part 3 chartered architect with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) in 2000 after graduating from Liverpool University. Three generations of Nick’s family have worked within the construction industry and when Nick was a child his father advised him to avoid working in the industry – advice that he politely ignored and went on to qualify as an architect and run his own successful practice.

Having degree qualified with commendation, Nick was headhunted from university to work for Austin-Smith:Lord, a large architectural practice with 130 employees specialising in major public sector construction projects.

Nick was later delighted to join Hodder Associates. As one of the most influential architectural practices in the country, he was able to work closely with the firms ground-breaking founder, Stephen Hodder MBE, on exclusive and imaginative design projects. Nick rose to become a Senior Associate within this Sterling Prize winning team, before moving to form part of the senior management team at the Pickard Finlason Partnership.

In 2008 Nick established Daccus ACM Ltd combining his experience of high-quality design and individual customer service to a range of unique projects often overlooked by larger firms. Working along side Nick is a close team including Phil Grey (senior Technician), and Francis Cullen – Architectural Designer.
